    Journey to Everest base camp

Bibizamena came Nepal on May 6, 2026. She stayed on thamel for two nights and the EBC trek begins from May 8. Luckily the team got the flight on 6:30 am, considered as early flight. The mountain view of eastern Nepal was really good where we could see other flights as well. The green mountains, rivers and snowcapped peaks welcome us in Lukla. After having some food in a nearby hotel we started our trekking to Phakding.

The closest view of airport passes by as we reached the welcome gate of Lukla. The stone paved path and market as similar as one street of Thamel was brilliant on mountain. The team continued with taking some photos and videos. After walking around 10 minute the guide take the permit just below the Pasang Lhamu gate. The trail was easy until we reach Thado Koshi. Ascending steps increased her breathe. She walked slowly with some breaks. Enjoying the green scenerary with flowing river, the team reached Phakding,

Phakding to Namche trek begins with energy. She was active on the starting the trek. The trail was not so hard until Hillary suspension bridge. The complete ascends begins after crossing the bridge. It takes around eight hours to reach Namche from Phakding. She was tired as the team walkied with rain cover, ascends and covered a long distance.

The team team deside to reach Phungi Thanga instead of having a rest day in Namche. Her walking speed was very slow that the team decide to shorten the next days walking distance. Firstly, she went to Namche view point and continued to Sanasha for Lunch. The descending trail to Phungi Thanga was also challenging for her. She did it.

The ascending trail from Phungi Thanga to Tengboche was a major challenge. The trail was complete ascend and takes around three hours to reach on the top. Tengboche monastery and the view of Everest, Ama Dablam and many mountains makes her too much happy. She enjoyed the food and view then the trek continues to Pangboche.

Day by day the team were gaining the elevation and her walking speed was more lower. Even though she was much determined to reach the base camp. She did her trekking with much enthusiasum. She enjoyed every moment and don’t leave any corners to capture in her phone. She cries on the base camp with her county flag. It makes every one emotional. The spend some time on the basecamp and return to Gorekshep. She was more active while returning to Lukla.
